Kitchen Finds is run by the Kitchen Finds Team, a small operation built around one idea: most people don’t need to spend $150 on a stand mixer or a chef’s knife to cook well. We research and write every roundup ourselves, drawing on manufacturer specs, verified buyer reviews on the retailers we link to, and (where we’ve used a product ourselves) our own kitchens. Why under $50

We picked the under-$50 price point on purpose. It’s the range where most home cooks, apartment dwellers, and college students actually shop: low enough to buy without agonizing over it, high enough that the product has to be genuinely good to earn a spot on a list. Above $50, you’re often paying for a brand name or features a home kitchen doesn’t need. Below it, quality gets inconsistent fast, which is exactly why our selection criteria matter more at this price, not less.
